COOPERATION FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE VIETNAM SOFTWARE INDUSTRY
 
Date:              April 15 and 16, 2010
Venue:           VCCI HQ                         Conference Hall, 10th Floor, 171 Vo Thi Sau Street, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City.  
Following the success of the VIBF Event held in Hanoi in November of last year, we are pleased to announce that the Second Vietnam Ireland Business Forum (VIBF) will take place on the 15th and 16th of April in Ho Chi Minh City, at the headquarters of the VCCI.  
The focus of this event (which is supported by the Vietnamese and Irish Governments) is to create partnerships between Vietnamese and Irish ICT companies.
 
Ten Irish companies will participate in the event and they are all seeking local partners.
 
ICT Partnership Forum: On the 15th of April, ten Irish ICT companies will showcase their products and technologies and Vietnamese participants will have an opportunity to have one-to-one meetings with these companies to see if partnerships can be developed to work cooperatively in the Vietnamese market.  
Entrepreneurs Workshop: On the 16th of April two experienced and successful Irish Entrepreneurs will carry out workshops for budding Vietnamese entrepreneurs. The Irish experts and will be available to coach and tutor Vietnamese executives.

 Background: Sponsored by the Governments of Vietnam and Ireland and managed by the VCCI, VINASA and Enterprise Ireland (the Irish Government’s Trade and Technology Agency), the VIBF is designed to create closer links between Irish and Vietnamese business people.
